A Marine's Work Ethic for Cheshire 10
Michael York grew up in Swanzey and Richmond — and he still calls the area home. After high school, he spent ten years in the United States Marines, where he learned what it truly means to get a job done.
He came back, worked 45 to 55 hours a week, raised a family, and still managed to earn a business degree from Franklin Pierce University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
Michael has stayed deeply involved in his community since returning. He currently serves on the Planning Board, the Government Governance Committee, and the Capital Improvement Program Committee in Swanzey.
Now he is running for the New Hampshire House to bring that same work ethic to Cheshire 10. His focus is straightforward: make life more manageable for the people of Swanzey and Richmond.
The Fight for Our Towns
No Income or Sales Tax. Ever.
The people of New Hampshire know best how to manage their own money. I will stand firm against any income or sales tax — keeping the Granite State advantage alive for our families and our future.
Support Education Freedom
The money should follow the student. Parents — not bureaucrats — should decide what is best for their children. I support Education Freedom Accounts that put families back in the driver's seat.
Local Control
The people should control how their tax money is spent and how their town grows. Decisions about Swanzey and Richmond belong to the residents who live here — not to Concord or Washington.
